In a country with a population of over 275 million, security is a crucial aspect of everyday life. According to the Association of Indonesian Security Service Business Entities (ABUJAPI), there were 1.6 million security guards in Indonesia. With such high demand, businesses providing these services must be able to ensure the quality and reliability of their workforce. One company that has been able to do just that is PT Wibowo Manajemen Indonesia, also known as Wibowo & Company.

Founded in 2019, Wibowo & Company is a reputable provider of outsourcing services, with a focus on security, cleaning, health, and safety. As a member of both ABUJAPI and the Association of Indonesian Cleaning Service Companies (APKLINDO), the company is committed to delivering exceptional service with a team of over 300 highly-skilled professionals, including security guards, cleaning, and driver personnel.

Utari Siwi Ghaisani, Director of Wibowo & Company, said the COVID-19 pandemic has presented new challenges for the outsourcing industry.

As shopping malls and offices were temporarily closed at the beginning of the pandemic, many outsourcing providers were forced to lay off employees. We faced similar challenges but found a way to keep our employees working by focusing on steady sectors such as hospitals, apartments, and other property sectors.

To ensure the highest level of quality and keep clients satisfied, Wibowo & Company invests in employee training, including regular training every 3 months for security guards and special training before renewing their Security Unit Membership Card. The company also supports the whole employees with workshops on topics, such as English conversation, computers, and leadership to further enhance their skills.

But it's not just about the training and development. Wibowo & Company also makes sure to make their employees feel valued and supported. They hold an annual vacation program for all employees and reward the best ones by allowing them to go on a pilgrimage (Umrah). They also have offered earned wage access powered by wagely since 2020 to enable employees to access a portion of their earned but not yet paid wages before their regular payday, which has resulted in a decrease in employee turnover from 20% to 7%.

When we first implemented wagely, we were just trying to keep up with the times and meet the needs of our employees. But what we found was that it ended up doing so much more for us. wagely has empowered our employees in a way that we never imagined. They're more satisfied and more motivated, and it shows in the quality of their work. It's made it easier for us to retain our top employees and has even impressed our clients.

She realized that when employees are financially stable and satisfied, they are more motivated to do their best work. This, in turn, results in improved quality of performance and ultimately, her client satisfaction.

We have received feedback from our clients praising the quality of work and the dedication of our employees. This is a clear indication that the financial stability provided by wagely has a direct impact on the quality of work delivered to our clients.

One employee, Wisnu Wiwafi, shared his experience of using wagely.

At one point, I found myself struggling to pay for my child's school fees, and I turned to wagely to access my earned wages. I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward the process was as it only took 1-2 minutes, and the money was already in my account. I just had to open the app, set the amount I wanted to withdraw, and submit the request. I'm grateful to my company for providing a hassle-free solution like wagely during a stressful time.

Utari, the Director said the company is gearing up for an exciting future as it sets its sights on expanding its reach by targeting state-owned enterprises and participating in more tenders this year. She plans to grow her team and open new branches in West Java and Central Java, so the company can serve more customers and create more job opportunities.

Employees are the backbone of any business, and in outsourcing, they are the foundation on which success is built. Without them, we are nothing. That's why at Wibowo & Company, we make it our mission to invest in our employees' satisfaction and development because we believe that a motivated and engaged workforce is the cornerstone for delivering outstanding quality and performance.
